Paavi
Terms of Use (End-User License Agreement)
Last updated October 14, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and The Lacy Jones Agency ("we", "us"), the maker of Paavi (the "App"), a production assistant for audio, video and event professionals. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. Your license
We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or rent the App, or use it to break the law.
2. Your account and your content
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your device secure. Everything you put into the App (gear, gigs, clients, quotes, invoices, notes, photos and messages) stays yours. You give us permission to store, process and back up your content only so we can run the App for you. How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy at https://lacyjones.com/av-field-guide-privacy.
3. Connected accounts
You can choose to connect other services to the App, such as Google, Gmail, other email inboxes, Facebook, Instagram and QuickBooks. When you connect one, you allow the App to read and, where you approve it, send or update information in that account on your behalf. You can disconnect any of them at any time in the App or in that service's own settings. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.
4. The AI assistant
The App includes an AI assistant that drafts replies, answers questions and identifies gear. AI can make mistakes. Check anything important before you rely on it, send it, or bill for it. The App asks for your approval before the assistant sends anything on your behalf.
5. Paid plans
Some features need a paid subscription, bought through Apple. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID settings. Apple handles payments and refunds under its own terms.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the App to send spam, harass anyone, infringe anyone's rights, or upload anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free or always available, or that its suggestions, numbers or drafts will be correct. You are responsible for your own business decisions, quotes, invoices and taxes.
8. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or lost profits, data or business, that come from using the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Profile, then Delete Account). We may end your access if you break these terms. Sections 7, 8 and 11 continue after the agreement ends.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the App changes. We'll change the date at the top, and if the change is significant we'll tell you in the App.
11. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, and has no duty to provide maintenance or support for it. If the App fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty duty to you. Apple is not responsible for any claims about the App, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property claims; we are, as these terms describe. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
